Elbridge Gerry's grave is right up the road from J. Eager Hoovers grave. Vice President Gerry grave is by the rod iron fence. In the Congressional Cemetery they have what is called cenotaphs which means empty grave. There is one for John Quincy Adams and for Vice President John C. Calhoun.
