President Truman was the final President of my two state tour of Missouri and Kansas. I liked his library better then President Eisenhower's, because it had a little more interactive things for people to do. You could read some of the letters and memos and other things he had while in office. With the letters and other things, they were in binders so you could flip thru the pages and read the letters. They had a whole wall full of Life magazines from 1952. They even show his last statement as President on a t.v set. They have a eternal flame outside that you can see thru a window and you can see it out side in the court yard. It is called the flame of freedom. You can go to the house and take a tour. If you get back on to Delaware St., it is like a mile from the museum. President Truman walked to his office at the Library everyday. You can see the inside of his library office from the court yard. I would say out of all the Presidents, I would say that the Truman's led the most simple life after the White House.
