Schulyer Colfax Grave

After leaving Grand Rapids, I made a stop in South Bend to see Vice President Colfax grave. His grave is really easy to find. It sits right past the gate on the left hand side. His grave has a angel on top of the marker. While I was there, some ladies from the Daughter of the American Revelation was cleaning up the grounds. They told me that President McKinley's grandparents were buried there. Their graves are by the fence that runs on the right after you enter the cemetery and go past the office. You will see a gate that is lock along this fence. There will also be some houses on the other side of the fence.
